From talking to taking action – program for March 8th 2025

March 8th is always a day of big words: Equal rights emancipation, an end to patriarchy. But we think this date should be a day of action!
Action in solidarity, when we speak up for ourselves and our siblings, whenever they are made invisible by society and oppressed and exploited by patriarchy!
Action in resistance, collectively sweeping every fascist off the streets and breaking every chain that wants to bind us to a role, a way of feeling gender or a way of loving! We want to act in a way that makes this world fair, a world of love, full of equality, a queerfeminist world!

And on March 8th, 2025, we will show how we can move from talking to taking action in Augsburg (Lutherplatz and Fuggerplatz), where cool music, exciting workshops and fierce actions await you all.

Together we can do it!

How does Feminism relate to your life?

What do you want to change about the world? What does intersectionality mean? In this workshop, we will explore and work on political issues in a playful and creative way and connect the personal and the political.(with methods by Gal Harmat) This workshop wants to be easy to understand. Children, adults, people with learning difficulties etc. are welcome

The situation of queer refugees in Bavaria:
The conditions for a self-determined life for refugees in Germany are becoming increasingly difficult.

If people make it into Fortress Europe at all in the future, they will be denied social participation at the latest by the tightening of laws. or misanthropic instruments such as the introduction of payment cards. Systematic exclusion is almost insurmountable, especially for groups of people facing multiple forms of discrimination. Here, we want to focus on queer refugees, for whom there are hardly any local support structures, which has an enormous impact on their everyday lives – and thus on their emotional and physical well-being.
